Submit Scraper Sites That Outrank You on Google

Scraper sites are those sites that copy other website data and post it in their own website or blog as their own, that have ban by webmaster from many years.

Even though the original should rank well in search engine since they are the original source, but often times the scraper sites ranking well than source content, usually because those sites use spam methods to rank their content.

Even worse case is that original source content not rank well in search engine while scraper website ranks well.

Google now released new Scraper Report form where site owner can submit scrapers sites by providing google with source url where the content was taken and the url of the other site the  content is republished and the keywords it ranking.

Google is also asking site owners to confirming that the website is following the webmaster guidelines before submitting, although the other webmasters are well aware of Google webmaster guidelines and how to find penalties in their accounts.

Sometimes scraper sites are not ranking well for top keywords, but there enough that ranking in top 10 or so, and can be more common on Google's search results when you go beyond page 2. The only way to remove the scraper site from search results by filling to DMCA report.

Is there other way instead of filling to DMCA to out the scraper sites out of search results? Are they using it to improve the algorithms to try and determine where the original content is versus copied content? But google not saying anything, we can suspect the google updating the algorithm by seeing why scrapers are ranking well.

Webspam team leader of Google Matt Cutts asked for examples the small website that are not ranking well in search engine being a high quality site, although that those submissions would not affect the ranking in search engine.

It's great that google looking the scrapers website because it has been pretty annoying for site owners are not ranking well in search engine from many years.

This is not first google has asked for help from scrapers, and in 2011 google has tried the scrapers algorithmically.

Hopefully we have to wait for a fresh update on how scrapers are controlled with a future algorithm update by Google.
