Google Reverifying Some Business Listings

Google Requiring To Reverify Some Business Listings Or Removing From Google Maps

All online or regular business listings owners are now getting emails from google as re-verify their business listings otherwise google is removing them listings from google maps within 3 weeks. For this issue, google is now sending emails with the subject as “Action Required: You have 3 weeks to save your Google Places Listing.” If business owner got this email to their listing email, they must be reverifying their listings otherwise it will deleted.

This issue was not cleared regarding how many business owners got the email from google and how many listings had impact with this update. Google’s Jade Wang who is the community manager of google+ local said in a help thread that these emails are expected from google and should be taken seriously otherwise removed from listings.

The brief information about email is, due to changes or modifications in google maps and google+,  we’d like to inform you that unless you review and confirm the information in your Google Places account. We will no longer be capable to keep and show it to Google users after 21st February, 2014.

If you don't re-verify your listing as per last date, "Listing Goes Here" this means business listing may be deleted. If you like to continue your listings in google maps, follow below steps.

Steps To Verify Business Listings

  1. Log in to your business Google places account
  2. Review or recheck and update your information
  3. Click on the “Submit” button
In business email if you get email in spam folder as mentioned above, manually check and follow the above steps. Your business listing will be in safe if you follow above procedure.
